movie reviews

all right, here is a list of my regrettable movies of the week. i post this that others may not suffer what i have suffered. in order from least awful to awfulest:

ps i love you
dont see it more than once. i saw it once, said 'aw' (and 'oo' for the irish men), then made the mistake of seeing it again. not a good movie. see only in sentimental stupor.

michael clayton
i had such high hopes for this one! the acting was good, i suppose it was artfully shot. but i just hated everyone in it. maybe that was the point, but i dont like movies where i come out feeling sad and dirty. it had a small happy ending, but with the tone of the movie it felt out of place. im sure lots of people like it, i didn't.

and WORST OF ALL
definitely maybe.
AAAAHHH. so bad. so bad. im not a walker outer of movies but this one? worse than dan in real life. and that is saying something. its like a group of old white men got together and said 'lets make a chick flick'. in fact, since the movie puts a lot of focus on some of the problems of the clinton administration, i am suddenly suspicous that it WAS made by old men. old men of a certain party. anyway, political agendas aside, all i really need to say is BOOOOOOOOO.

bad movie week. i'm taking a movie break. unless its to sneak out to the dollars and see sweeney todd for the 3rd time. now theres a movie. johnny depp, class struggle, and holy crap its a musical!

hey! bride and prejudice! no life without wife! i saw a good one recently, Faye Dunaway as a hottie! Jack Nicholson as a dapper badass with a cut on his nose! politics! cover-ups! it's called Chinatown. rent it immediately! bummer about Michael Clayton. so glad I bought clothes instead.
