hi everyone! the good news is our tourist package is over! yay! ok not that it wasn't amazing to see so much of thailand, we definitely saw way more than we would have otherwise. but now we can do what we want. yay! so the trouble though with this situation is...deciding what we want to do. so i thought i would start a vote!
our next goal is to get into china. there are a few ways we can do this. please to choose one for helpings?
1. take a bus into laos, take a two day river trip to a european colonial city, take a 16 hour bus ride (gah!) into china.
2. take a bus into laos, do the river thing, go down to capital of laos, and fly into china.
3. fly to vietnam, take a bus into china.
ok, so i know all these options sound the same. but just pick one dang it!
the engrish here is amazing. there is an ad for yogurt around that has lots of little fluffly animated creatures and says "yogurting...endless dreams". I also enjoyed the folder for school girls with the phrase "it's time to be cool like a boy".
