yay internet! its so spotty here, but this place has a fantastic connection! chargy though, so this will be short. first im really sorry im behind on letters! libby you have a long ace letter comin your way! hopefully whenever justin and i find a place consistently interentty i will be able to write better.
yeah i was hoping to be able to post pictures of places ive been and what we've been doing the past week or so...but the camera isnt close by, so basically just imagine riding around on a bike in a place like where King Louie lives in the Jungle Book....yeah. thats where im at. wel, not anymore. today we arrived at a place called chaing mae, which is kind of like the portland of thailand. its really nice, there are book shops and reasonably priced western food restaurants around too. we cant stay this time, we leave tomorrow to go "trekking", but in a couple of weeks well be back here indefinitely. yay!
so yeah tomorrow we go "trekking"...im not quite sure what this is. i think it involves touching elephants. yay! and possibly those crazy hill tribes that wear those neck lengthening things. hm. i hope to purchase some handicrafts.

a) there is a tag i see everywhere in brooklyn that says "peru ana ana peru"
b)i went to coney island! there was no custard to be found. just lots of ladies in 2-pieces that should not have been. i ate an amazing hotdog there!
c)i ate thai food tonight! the whole time i was thinking "i wonder if anna is eating the same thing at the same time!!"
d)there are people down the street from where i work who sell "pashmina" scarves
oh, everything was NOT closed at coney island
