this must be short because i feel i may throw up after writing it...(hopefully after not during?) justin and i just got off a bus trip that took 38 hours, from luang prabang in laos into kunming in china. the up side was that it was a sleeper bus so we could lay down...the down side was that it was that the berths were incredibly tiny so we couldnt sit UP. claustrophobes beware. it reminded me of that seinfeld where kramer starts renting out the drawers in his dresser to chinese business people as beds. something like that.
anyways, the upside is that now we are in kunming! much earlier than we thought we would be. we have only been here for a few hours, but my impression is that it is BIG! big fat city. 4 million people. i guess that is small by chinese standards though.
yup. i feel sorta sick though...hope to post a better one later.
