ooo i am in a good mood. freakin china man! GO HERE! we are in the city of kunming and it is like, the best place ive ever been. its huge, and tall and modern, but very clean. people are really cute and friendly, chinese tourists are much more common than anglo ones so people dont HATE us here. in fact today a group of chinese tourists wanted us to come be in their picture! were like rock stars!
and again, since im obsessed i might as well tell you, the food is delicious. there are shakes that taste like strawberry quik and have gummy candy in them, huge piles of street fried rice for much less than a buck, not to mention sweets and bakeries everywhere. healthy healthy healthy. so cheap and delicious!
oh man i was gonna write a long, happy entry but the hostel im in thinks its a nightclub and just turned on some REO speedwagon knock off really, really loud, drowning out my music and distracting me. so...happy post to be continued at a later date.

I can't believe that I just discovered this nifty little blog of yours. So I am half way through in reading it. Wes and I went on our own little tourist trip to Leaping Tiger Gorge (on Google Earth). I just can't believe that you are seeing all of this stuff. It's wonderful. I love the colors...so much red in everything. Have fun, Anna (George)
