so after writing about my eyestrain last night, i got on a bus for salt lake even though that meant $15 in gas and having to get up early the next morning. i bought myself off with promises of doing lots of homework at home and getting up early to get back to school and it would be like nothing ever happened. well, i didn't do jack at home except sit in the dark and watch x-files.
im really into that show lately. its kind of weird, i think it might be for nostalgic reasons more than its being a good show (it is a good show though...give it a chance, come on). like im halfway through the series now and am really sad about that. guess i'll need to find some other way to connect with all those suppressed teenage years.
the eyestrain went away though, upon going home, which i guess is good. it makes me frustrated that i can't seem to manage this grad school thing and maintain my sanity/health. its the price you pay i guess, but for what? grad degrees w/o phD's are regarded as silly, but i don't know if i want a phd. maybe justin and i should just move to california and he can work in a community college and i can have some babies.
yeah, lets make that happen.
