nevertheless today's photos are from the horrifying experience that was CHINATOWN! man you'd think i'd get used to asia one of these days but nope. not yet.

honestly this wasn't technically in chinatown. this was a creepy sailor puppet that waggled back and forth and cackled if you put a quarter in it, which of course we did. nightmares. so i guess asia isn't the only crazy continent.

so androgynous! is it a man? a woman? an escaped dancer from an 80's production of cats? whatever he is he's big in japan!

mmm boba bubble gooby or whatever you call these things, the gobs at the bottom are yummy. i got the jackfruit flavor, which is something like extra sweet petroleum. mm.

just a dam decent lunch i tell you. banh mi and boba drink.

to end the day in china town, we visited a fish shop. as pets? to eat? who knows? it was creepy and dark that is for sure.
