adventures in caramel

so it's been a while since i've gone into the kitchen with a recipe in one hand, a bag of ingredients in the other, and NOT had it work out. im beginning to take these things for granted. so last weekend i had a near breakdown trying to make caramel. don't worry, i took pictures.
ps i neglected to take pictures of the actual caramel so...enjoy looking at the chocolates i also made, more successfully.

IT WORKED I DID IT! finished caramel not pictured. only joy pictured.



and the chocolates were good too.

so despite my complaints about filling my time with awesome things evidence of my improving quality of life can be found on my USB drive, where documents like "THEORYSUM34FREUDANDFRY" and "MODERNITYRES.#18" are being replaced with "DINNERPARTYPLANS" and "YOGAPOSE"
