I LOVE SPAWN!

the stuff is addictive ok? now i know why rich people pay the big bucks to eat it out of small tins.

hit my first culture shock wall this week. i was walking home from work and some guy honked at me on the road, and suddenly i hated all koreans. not normal. but i guess the culture shock is normal.

the good news is i finally broke down and made cookie dough this weekend. i can't cook it, but hey who needs to cook it? but i learned more about why koreans are skinny. two tablespoons of chocolate chip cookie dough: 120 calories. 4 chewy, delicious glutinous rice sweets: 60 calories. i am by no means converting, but it is interesting. asians just dont understand how amazing butter is i guess, and their waist lines show it.

i start my first class tomorrow that will be officially my own. two little girls starting with early easy reading. wahoo!

hm i dont know the korean name but i think the proper english name is caviar? it's just fish eggs, but they sprinkle it all over stuff here, sometimes piled high in big orange mounds. i think it would sound a lot more appetizing if they called it 'caviar' but they decided to go with spawn...

You should see what the guys are like in Argentina!

You just have to get to where you tease them back.

There was a sister missionary back in the day (my days in Argentina)that just couldn't take the guys in Argentina, and so she was shipped back to the states and finished her mission there. I doubt that they were as bad as they are in Italy.

Anna, you can pretend that you are on a mission. The first half goes along slower, but after you hit the halfway mark, time just flies by.(Then you are secretly sobbing that it is all over and you have to go back home so soon.)
