first post in my travelling blog! sadly on a down note. j and i got duped up the butt. can you believe it? yesterday we were walkin around snapping pictures of buddhist temples, when a very friendly guy who charmed us with NBA talk advised us to go the TAT, tourist authority of thailand, and they would help us figure out the best and cheapest places to go in thailand. so we went, and this very friendly woman drew up an amazing itinerary of places all over thailand to visit for what she assured us was a great price. well long story short, we told our innkeeper about it and his jaw dropped and he told us how screwed we just got; we should have paid about a third of what we did.
anyways, today will be spent tryin to get our money back. its a bit disheartening. mosquitos are biting me. hope i dont get malaria. we may have to come home early if we cant get any of our money back. dirty dirty thais.
better day tomorrow? we may go to the zoo to cheer ourselves up.
