there are a million half tame dogs and cats running around this place...thai people seem to really like pets and don't do anything about strays. could it be some buddhist/hindu streak that requires a deep respect for animals?
there are a lot of gardens too, and lots of plants in fat urns of water with fishes in the water. so much life everywhere.
they stick shrimp in eh vree thing.
a girl at our hostel just got her passport stolen and no one is taking her seriously, "it must be lost" says the innkeeper as she weeps. would he respect her word more if she were a man?
lots of mosquito bites. hope i dont have malaria.

when you come back you should set up a slideshow like old people do of there vacations so we can see aaaaaaaallll the pictures
