i got a paper proposal accepted to go to chicago in spring and stand in front of a bunch of college professors and talk about stuff! yaaaay!!! my program will pay for it! yaaaay! this is the first time ive had someone pay me for someting on the basis of pure merit rather than because they were my mom (thanks mom!) or because i worked for them.
ok so YAY!
but im scared because i just read over my proposal again and it is INCREDIBLY ambitious. I basically said, ill tell you all the meaning of life if you all lean in real close. sooo....piss it.
still...yaaay!!
