ahh man i have been in a MALAISE!! since that phd revelation ive been wandering around in a serious funk. i mean, i really want to get a phd (i know that now), but its more just suddenly having absolutely no idea what you're going to be doing in six months, when one of the possibilities really starts to look like the gutter/playing guitar on the street for money (pretty cool actually).
but anyways, ive got some of my mojo back. partially weather induced (yay sun! boo rain!) and partially encouraging teachers saying helpful things. so i will now be applying to the following school.
Rutgers - Comparative Literature (New Jersey)
Michigan State - English
Reno - English (ew Nevada! but they pretty much founded eco-criticism)
Oregon State - English (Libby Libby Libby Libby Libby)
George Mason University - Cultural Studies
Northwestern - Performance Studies
NYU - Performance Studies
UCSD - Art History
yeah man! i am all the crap over the place! its gonna cost maybe a fortune to apply to all those schools but if i could just get into one id be a happy gal.
and dont worry im going to have babies either way ;)
