aight. heard from university of nevada: reno today. REJECTED. and what a frank letter it was. man i thought i had a chance with those guys.
i started this whole "post your PhD results" thing cause I was expecting to get into one and looking forward to the day that i triumphantly posted my acceptance that would make all those rejections look silly. but...i've only got two more schools to hear from and it's not. looking. good.
im getting a little megalomaniacal too...oh YEAH?? ill write my dissertation ANYWAY and when it changes the world won't they feel STUPID!??? AHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! just like rachel carson.
